Points System

  • 🏆 Win: 2 points
  • 🤝 Tie/No Result: 1 point each
  • Loss: 0 points

If teams finish with equal points, the Net Run Rate (NRR) will act as the tie-breaker.

Tournament Format

  • The league stage will feature all 8 teams competing in a double round-robin format.
  • Each team plays several home and away games.
  • The top 4 teams on the BBL 2025–26 Points Table qualify for the Finals Series:
    • The Qualifier: 1st vs 2nd
    • The Knockout: 3rd vs 4th
    • The Challenger: Winner of Knockout vs Loser of Qualifier
    • The Final: Winner of Qualifier vs Winner of Challenger

The Big Bash League (BBL) is Australia’s premier T20 cricket competition, featuring eight franchises representing major cities. Known for explosive batting, thrilling finishes, and world-class talent, BBL 15 promises a summer full of entertainment for cricket fans across the globe.

There are 8 teams competing in BBL Season 15, representing major Australian cities.

Each win awards 2 points, while a no-result gives 1 point.

The Perth Scorchers were the defending champions of the previous season.

NRR is calculated as the average runs per over scored minus the average runs per over conceded across all matches.

BBL 2025–26 begins in December 2025 and runs through January 2026 across major Australian venues.
